So... why do I show as only completing 6 puzzles on the "wrong" leader board?

Probably because I've been lazy and missed a bit of code somewhere... the Wrong leaderboard is very new so I'm not surprised!! I'll take a look at it now and see if I can sort it out.

Edit: I think I've got it now... time will tell (the update on finishing a wrong was... er... wrong).

the 'wrong' leaderboard still looks wrong!

I'm fastest on Wednesday, but I'm not showing as such on the leaderboard.

Fixed!! Hopefully that's the last one. Note to self: more extensive testing next time...

Is there any way of having our own wrong scores appended to our own results page?  I know there's a "wrong" I havn't done this week, but as my wrong scores aren't all that hot, I can't figure out which one I havn't completed very easily.

Good idea! I've added it.

Cheers!

Now that's a depressing score - having forgotten which puzzle I hadn't done, I came back and completed it nearly five days later... and I've been hit with an extra change for every minute!  Won't be doing that again...

That's really funny. Shame you couldn't do something similar on either of this weekend's normal puzzles, I was quite pleased to have a couple of best times for once but now they're gone! Ah well, I didn't really expect them to stay long...

Would it be possible to somehow indicate which number was changed to save everyone some time? Or would that defeat the purpose or make it too easy?

Yes, I think that's part of the challenge. It's like when you think you've finished a puzzle but something's not quite right... the first part is always figuring out where you went wrong. I know it takes a while on the weekend ones, but it's quite funny how sometimes you just can't see the wrong number.

Well, I *still* havn't solved one of the "wrong"s this weekend, and short of clearing the whole board, I'm not sure I ever will...!  Guess I need to go away and do some practice.

What's wrong with clearing the whole board?  On the weekends, it's probably the easiest way to go.  I've used that method once or twice, tragically.

I get bored.

I can usually figure it out without a full clearance, so I like to try that first.  I've cleared most of this one and tried from there, but I went down a wrong route and couldn't remember which changes to make.  At this stage (several days late), it feels like it's probably more trouble than it's worth.

Another thought... What about keeping a tally of the best-ever weekly change/time totals for the "wrong" puzzles, much as you already do for the normal ones?

I thought about that, but it's not like the normal challenges where the difficulties can be predicted - it's possible we could get a week where every "wrong" was an easy one, so getting a good overall time for a week doesn't mean much.

Would it be possible to color the whole wrong puzzle green, then when we change something, make it black or something like that?  I have trouble keeping track of which parts I've changed, and that's something that's probably important.  Course, I haven't really found any strategy whatsoever for these puzzles, so that's also a problem.

Sunday, I got down to two separate loops (a huge one, and a very small, like 20 segment one) but had no idea whatsoever about how I should join the smaller into the larger.

Hmmm... that would probably be quite easy to do; everything green and then changing to black as you click (although obviously changing something to a space wouldn't have a colour!) - but I'm not sure keeping track of what you've changed would help much? And if it does help, then I probably wouldn't do it!! Hehe... the "wrong" puzzles are supposed to be very challenging.

I'm not convinced I have a great strategy for solving these yet, but I can do them given time. I try to mentally mark areas that I know have to be correct and then work around them, trying out different possibilities until something looks like it's working.
