I've been making my way back through the past games archives and have worked back to December 2005 puzzles so far. I have noticed a slight usability issue - I have to click back through fourteen pages of archives before getting to the puzzles I am after.
Any chance of presenting the archives in a month-to-a-page format with the root archive page having links to each month?
Just a suggestion to aid us newcomers who have to catch up ( : |

In the meantime: After you hit "Older" once, the address ends in a number. If you reduce this number by 30, it takes you back 30 days. |

Look really good man. One thing I think would be cool too is a tracking system for which archive puzzles you have done (if its not too hard to impliment).

Yes... it's something I've thought about, and it's certainly possible to do, it's just that it would make the size of the database explode!! As it's only the last 7 days that count towards any sort of score, I made the decision not to keep a record of all older solved puzzles... but maybe one day I'll change my mind... |

I'd also like to know which archived puzzles I've worked. If you just saved a bit for archived puzzles worked (and threw away solution times or other info), the database size should stay tractable. |

The new archives are great, but I found a problem:
When I choose a new month in the archive, choose a puzzle and go back to the archive again, I get the annoying "Warning: Page has expired" message. Then I have to click refresh and hit "Retry".
Another 30-minutes work for foilman?

I can't seem to replicate the problem here... if I click "archives", change month, click a puzzle, then click archives again, it works as it should with no errors...? |

Oh ok then you talked me into it. I'll see how it goes with database size... Any puzzles you complete from now on will appear with shading in the archives so you can see which ones you've done.

Seems to work fine.
I assume the old ones will still not have times stored though...?

That's right. It's just a "you have done this puzzle" indicator, with no time or anything... |

Woul it be posible to add some cross-hatching for when we've done the "wrongs" as well? |

I wasn't planning on doing that... but I've done it anyway! From now on, the shading will turn into cross-hatching when you've done the 'wrong' puzzle too. |
