I finally joining Club59  - 59m 46s in 121 puzzles - It took a while because I am still inconsistent on the week-end puzzles. Surprisingly(or not actually) I made it with 2 slow week-end times: 19m 50s on Saturday and 19m 39s on Sunday. |

Heh, it wasn't that long ago that I consider 30minutes to be a reasonable weekend time. |

Yes, had the same with the weekends when i started. Happy with 30 minute times. Never even considered joining any clubs. Now i am happy with anything under 15. But really hoping for an easy weekend this week cause i had my best week ever. Now to get this weekend under 18 minutes total. And join my final club cause i am not seeing me ever joining club 19. |

and then I go and get an hour for today - I did the puzzle twice, both times making a mistake which I didn't notice until the end, and first time not being able to work out the 'wrong' that I had created.

Whoo hoo! Been knocking on this door for weeks, and just blew it open with a 52, on the back of a seriously fast (for me) Saturday and Sunday.
Would have been here sooner, except that I melted down last Friday and posted a +28 minute time.
I've been aiming to get under an hour for a while now -- it wasn't until I got the "Welcome" message that I realized it got official recognition... |

Wow, made it to Club 59 at last on my 450th daily puzzle (and having solved 1685 puzzles in the archive) with a 58:37 time. When I started playing the games I thought some of the puzzles were impossible, so I'm amazed at my progress. But I still don't understand how any single puzzle can be solved in under a minute. I'm pretty happy today |

Slammed into Club 59 with a 50m 37s time, after 386 daily puzzles (a little over a year) and 679 archive puzzles, including all but 7 of the user puzzles. Whew! I believe I've actually had a run of 7 puzzles that were less then an hour a few times, but since I don't get to play every night, some had fallen off of the last 7 days before I got around to doing the rest, so it took a while to get the timing right.
Completely as a coincidence, I finally made it into Club 29 today at the local indoor go-kart track. It has been a good day.

It was just beautiful to see "Welcome To Club 59" inscription. I'm here now. 61 daily puzzles and 149 puzzles in archive. =)
I wonder what Club 59 members should work on in the first place. I've watched videos made by really fast solvers (I mean MondSemmel here), and they put lines and crosses three or four times faster than me. For instance, I solve Monday puzzle in 1:30 without making pauses on thinking, they do the same in 0:30.
On the other hand, I often get stuck on Sunday and Saturday puzzles. They do as well, but they manage to find a way out quickly. It's difficult to determine the right line to test after having pressed FP button.
By the way, is there a way to learn how many people are in this club? |

I can't really tell what to work on - I'm currently at 2456 solved daily puzzles, so much of the difference in e.g. explorations may just be experience.
That said, the more patterns you know, the less you'll get stuck and need explorations in the first place. Patterns, highlander etc. are explained in the links in this post.

Finally made it into a club.
124 daily puzzles solved, 200 in the archives. Too bad, that I really messed up on this wednesday's puzzle. I got 10:44 at first but now solved it in 5:47. With such a time I could have made it to club 49. |
