UI request - Shading

I use the shading option quite a lot (to indicate "completed" squares)
My problem is, once a block of squares is shaded, it is not easy to trace the line when looking for closed loops etc.
Would it be possible to colour the number instead? or to come up with a way of marking squares which makes the line easier to see (such as lighter colours)

I agree, the colours should probably turn light instead of dark when fixed, and it wouldn't be hard to make them smaller (in fact it took foilman some effort to grow them to the current size).

I just backed up my progress (save and reload) and the board changed beneath me, quite trippy

Perhaps I'm in the minority, but I really don't like the new shading.  I find it alot harder to see the continuous blocks of color.

The smaller boxes make it easy to see the loop - i like it

Since the implementation of the new shading, my average time to complete has doubled.

Any chance you can make it an option?

No problem - now the "Shading" button switches between "off", "small" and "large", so you can take your pick. It should remember your setting between puzzles, so you only need to do it once.
