Absolutely. I keep a mental list of loose ends I need to get back to, and if I lose that list, It takes me forever to find the darned things again. Also a fuzzier list of things that nearly work so I should pay attention to anything that might nudge them, but I don't lose that one so easily because more thought's gone into it.
Even if I don't pick up the phone, just hearing it ring and wondering if I should get it is enough to throw me off a little. Then sometimes I get frustrated at it happening, and end up even more distracted and off-kilter. |

It's easier that way.

I do that pretty frequently, and the person on the other end typically gets mad at me and hangs up. |
