I've tried about 10 times to solved an archived Wrong (Fri. 21 Oct 2005) and keeping reaching the same contradiction.  Could someone else check if that wrong is solvable?  Thanks.

Solved it, but it was a nightmare. But I cleared out the markings and solved it as a normal puzzle and it took me 15 minutes (without FP, obviously), so it might not actually be that hard if you treat it as a Wrong.

Yes, I had a quick look in the database and it's definitely solvable! Only procrastinor and Jankonyex have solved it to date... (I had a quick go and failed...)

I tried to solve it in the wrong sense, but did not manage. Then I 'solved' the regular version with in my mind the wrong substituted. So I have seen the solution, but I don't have any clue how to find it properly in the wrong sense. I leave it open. Maybe in al couple of months...

Looking at the "number of changes required" column in the database, there are only 3 wrongs harder than that one!! And two of those are weekend ones...

The hardest wrong currently available, based on number of changes required, is the one for Saturday 8th October 2005.

And the hardest 10x10 wrong is some time in the future (more than a year away at least).

18 minutes, again solving by erasing everything and treating it as a normal puzzle.

That was a VERY hard mistake to find.  I guess the Right had biased me toward that mistake.  Thanks all for the checks.

The Right is not so bad, though it's hard to believe I beat the fastest stored time:
*** Puzzle Complete ***
Well done. Your total elapsed time was:-
18m 22s

The time hasn't been stored, as the puzzle is at least a week old.
Back when this puzzle was part of the weekly challenge, the best time recorded
was 18m 42s.

Do you want to go Kwon-Tom Wrong ?

Now to try the Wrong ...
*** Kwon-Tom Wrong Complete ***
Well done. You made 96 changes and your total elapsed time was:-
37m 22s

Yes, pretty hard.

This time last year that's how slow we all were... once the solutions "go live" after a week the best time isn't updated any more (it would be a bit easy to cheat!) so that just goes to show how much we've all improved since then. The earlier you go back in the archives, the easier it is to beat the best time.
