Opening from archives resets timer? |
Jean Kwon-Tom Obsessive Puzzles: 2066 Best Total: 20m 50s | Posted - 2006.11.23 06:07:10 I've only recently noticed that re-opening an archived puzzle seems to reset my time. i.e. I opened an old (old old...) weekend puzzle, didn't complete it, went away and came back later, opened it from the archives page and completed it, and my time was close to normal. In this case, for archived puzzles where I'm not racing against people, I'd call it a feature rather than a bug. But for the weekly puzzle challenges... it would be a different story.
I'm not game to see if it would work for the weekly puzzle challenges, because 1) I'm not a cheater 2) if it didn't work, it would drastically increase my times for that week But I really hope that it doesn't work that way for those current puzzles. |
