In particular, both the Saturday and Sunday puzzles this time had grids where all numbers have 4 edges, which is more reminiscent of Standard Kwontomloop; in the past we've had Variations weekend puzzle grids with hexagons, triangles, etc., which are more unfamiliar and hence feel more difficult. |

I think I tend to have the most trouble with vertexes that have a lot of lines, rather than cells that have a lot of lines. Looking back over my recent times, it's layouts like this Sunday's that I've been comparatively slowest at. Hexagons feel a lot more comfortable. |
