Today's puzzle, required no fixed position, no complex deductions, it all seemed straight forward. At least both times I tried it that is what happened, I didn't notice any mistaken deductions that might have accidentally made the puzzle trivial... But I never get a time comparable to MondSemmel, so I figure I must have done something wrong to make the puzzle easier...

I'm flattered... I think? But in the case of this puzzle I might have just made a mistake and had to redo a few lines. On re-trying the puzzle I now get a similar time to Darklady's.
More generally, the time to question whether you've solved a puzzle "correctly" is if your score is surprisingly off compared to everyone else's, not just one particular person's. E.g. I found such a case in 2020-12 and wrote a forum post on it; that was an exceptionally difficult puzzle and I just lucked into the correct solution via a very fortunate trial & error exploration.

Well at time of writing I was the fastest time... but yes thankfully some others have come along and shown the puzzle can be done faster
