I don't know about anyone else, but the first half of this puzzle was so easy I thought I was going to have possibly my lowest Saturday time, and then all of a sudden it got really hard, like a Friday hard.

Or maybe I was just having a brain fart halfway in. My times lately have been pretty bad overall.

I agree, the first part of the puzzle was much easier then the second. Luckily a bunch of educated guesses (the way the finished loop looks is often similar, an underrated tactic for faster times) went my way, and I was finished pretty quickly.

There must be a bug going around; my times haven't been so great either lately, now that you mention it.

It went smoothly for me. Didn't guess, didn't really get held up anywhere.

I always have trouble when there are a lot of lines on the board but they don't connect.  I probably lost 5 extra minutes on wild goose chases before I found a way to proceed.  I think this happens to me because the normal puzzle seems to have complete partial loops surrounded by an area of squares with little to no lines where my intuition finds known patters that are likely to simplify.  When I have single squares of choices and lines that connect to other single squares of choices, I tend to feel like I don't have a clue where to begin.
