You can get further than that just with logic...
I use shading (hence an excuse for why I'm slow), but keeping track of what cells are inside or outside the loop can help enormously.
edit: Look at the '2' in the centre...
The cells to the left and right of it are outside the loop, therefore the cells above and below it must be inside. Now for these 'outside' areas, both up exits (either side of the cell above the '2') are blocked by '3's. Therefore, it must exit on the RHS.

Cell shading intrigues me, but it's so time-costly that I don't bother with it.
Someone posted a link/document on the forum way back when that covers the bases of it, but it was really difficult for me to apply that to solving puzzles quickly. |
