| Clicking on intersections |

I don't have great mouse skills, often not quite clicking where I intended. But behaviour I experience often felt a bit wrong even after taking that into account. I had a couple of theories, but never bothered to test it more deeply.
My theories appear wrong (I thought that maybe shift pressed status wasn't being propagated reliably depending on where you click...).
But I did discover a clear discrepancy between standard and variations.
In standard no matter where you click, it will always make a mark, even the very centre of an intersection will take the 'closest' line and toggle its state.
In variations however, any click on an intersection is guaranteed to do nothing.
Beyond that, I'm even seeing dead space not on an intersection, not some consistent distance away from edges either.
I would think it would be better if variations was more consistent with standard and all clicks always cause some change. I wonder how easy this would be to fix?

However clicking on intersections still seems to do nothing. I'm less concerned about this now that the fix for drag state management went in, but FYI anyway. |
