I have now completed every daily puzzle in the archive on this site.
I've had phases of being addicted, and phases of doing other things, but that's it. Just some monthly beasts to sate my appetite for new puzzles now!
My numbers don't seem to add up though.
My stats says: 1761 daily puzzles solved & 4635 archive puzzles. (Tot 6396)
However, Wolfram Alpha says there are 4638 days from 30/5/05 to 9/2/18.

Therefore, there should be a total of 4639 puzzles. (8 to 9 may = 1 day, 2 puzzles)
Any idea why do my numbers not add up?
1) It seems I've missed 4 somewhere [edit: found 3, so just 1 missing now, unless *today*s puzzle doesn't count as 'archive puzzle'?]
2) Presumably the count of archive puzzles includes the daily ones?
Also, how many other people have completed every puzzle?
By the way, puzzle #5000 is less than a year away. Tue 5th Feb 2019.
I feel we should really do something special that day...

Congrats! Another milestone achieved  .
My statistics page says I've solved 4639 archive puzzles, so I assume that's all of them...?

Looks like I'm less than 400 short - but that seems like a lot really  Not sure I'll ever go back and do the first year's puzzles I missed... |

Interesting - I'd somehow always assumed the number of archived puzzles solved included the user puzzles, but your day count shows it's just the dailies. I've done every puzzle on the site, but the total shown on stats page (now 4640) is just the start: I've also done the Wrongs for every one of those, the 518 User Puzzles in the Archives, all the monthly Beasts, and all those posted in the forum (there's ~180 in the User Beasts thread currently near the bottom of third page, plus a few more in a handful of other threads). |

Thanks guys. Yup, that must be it. 'archive puzzles' doesn't include today's, which makes sense.
@Tilps - Yeah you will  I'd do a month at a sitting, and the beast for that month the following day. Even at a week per day, you'll be done within 2 months.
@pqg - I'm not sure what superlative/adjective is beyond 'Obsessive', but you're it! That's an incredible stat! Well done! |
