Do you really expect anyone to beat your time? You must have seen something in that puzzle that I simply couldn't. Today's puzzle caused me no end of trouble. What on earth did I miss? |

Well, it didn't help that I had to restart it!
But going at it again, only following logical loops (and I couldn't remember which way round to go anyway) I managed to get a time of 4.43. I expect we'll see plenty of times at that level or better, but as good as 2 and a bit minutes? I'll be surprised... |

Haha, me too. That's cause I tried to "cheat" by doing a fix position and taking the path I thought was right. It wasn't until I clicked submit that I saw the loop I had created, and by that time, the fix position was lost (and hitting the back button didn't remember stuff, so I was up the creek).
However, Heldge is right, I just did it again, and logically finished it with no fix positions. And it took me exactly 2:53, amusingly enough...
The key, I believe, and what I missed the first time, is . . .
well, I'll reply to this next week sometime. I'd hate to give somebody an unfair advantage (like procrastinator...) |

Probably the same thing I missed as well.
Just completed it logically, cold, in 2.25 - also without using fix position at all. Helge was right - it *is* an easy puzzle, so long as you don't miss that one vital clue.
Damn that 2! (I won't say which one, but if I'd seen the logic around it, I'd have been well away.)
Anyway - a tie for the leader! Don't see that very often, do we?

Yeah, definitely possible, this is an _easy_ weekender - I got interrupted (and have a hangover to begin with) during my 7:32 . C'mon astrokath: Fast fingers!
