For [jcslru01], does 5+ mean greater than or equal to 5? If so, there is also a solution with x=y=0.

I choose not to use symbols like ≈ or ≠ that will usually not be teached in kindergartens. If I were a person who only know simple mathematics (plus, minus and equal), I think N+ will better be regarded as numbers bigger than N, so.

Okay. I think the convention, at least in the US, is that 5+ means greater than or equal to. For example, a game that says 8+ usually means ages 8 and up. Similarly for a bar or club advertising 21+. Granted, though, I've never seen anything like 4-.

I thought this was too funny, so I decided to post it. My solver's "hard" difficulty level is working and I've tried it on a few of your puzzles. For [jcsl27], your "ugly" solution has 779 moves whereas the computer generated one has... 8291 moves! Obviously I need to make some improvements. But it was fun to watch (for me, maybe not for anyone else), holding down 'r' for at least five minutes...

By the way, I like your puzzles. I haven't done them all, but I've done most. I don't think I've yet finished this one by hand.

I downloaded the solutions mainly so I could solve the puzzles with loopy. But recently I've been doing them on graph paper, away from the computer, so it doesn't matter.

I also like the idea, but I can only solve the practice puzzle by a transmission from the top-left corner to the bottom-left corner. I might misunderstand the rules though.
