Wouldn't daily bests be interesting?

Sorry the calculation was wrong - it was including the "practise" puzzles. You've actually done 1089, and there are 1090 puzzles to date. So the only one you're missing is 23rd December 2006...

Ha ha.

I just spotted the total go down and was about to post a very confused message.  I'm on that 23rd December puzzle right now.  Can't imagine how I missed it.

Cheers foilman.

Thanks, foilman. This one sounds much more accurate. I forgot 3 puzzles in the archive, by the way^^ (perhaps you could make the line something like "Number of Solved Puzzles In The Archives: X (of Y)"?

This number seems much more useful (although I agree that one can easily manipulate it - I just saw that I have several weekend puzzles in the archives with solving times of 30-60 minutes because I never did them in the weekly challenge and therefore felt no pressure to do them fast/concentrate on them exclusively until they were done. I'll probably redo those, at least, but I agree completely that redoing all of the puzzles (or cheating by copying a solution) could easily destroy that number, too. At least it's now destroyed by a conscious decision I have control over .

How about a median time for all puzzles/each day of week?
