Could we have some sort of marathon every weekend where like you get one person to face off against and see who can complete a puzzle fastest? With summer at hand many will find themselves diving through the archives and running out of puzzles.

But it's the summer... if you're in the northern hemisphere you should be out and about, enjoying the sun!! Surely puzzles are good for winter nights and rainy days???

Er, how does your suggestion differ from any other day, anyway? We're always competing against each other for the fastest times each day... (ok, not simultaneously, but that shouldn't really matter).

Good point. Maybe what would work better would be if you complete one puzzle you can go onto another and keep completing new puzzles and get the best out of your spare time.

That's what www.puzzle-loop.com is for: an endless supply of puzzles. But you can't have endless puzzles of foilman's quality/calibration or endless competition. Maybe the multiplayer applet will provide more frequent competition for you? (I don't know what it's like 'cos I don't have a Windows to play with)

Anyway, with 365 puzzles I don't usually recognise a puzzle when I do it for a second time, so it's almost as good as limitless - maybe you've done them more often than I have, but then I think your times would be quicker.

You think my times would be WHAT!?!? My times stink! Right now my Saturday puzzle is taking up an hour and 50 minutes!

Out of interest, what operating system would a multiplyaer program need to run on for you to use? (I can rewrite it to work on mono and hence Mac OS-X and Linux - but there would be some loss of functionality and performance, and that version wouldn't get updated anywhere near as often. So I doubt I'd do it at all without significant interest.)

For foilman, do you mind me mentioning my program here when people bring it up? - I don't want to be intruding in your own forum.

Not at all, I'm as much of a "fan" of the puzzles as anyone, so I positively invite discussion of other sites, programs, etc!
