I am trying to start the Beast of the Month for August; however, I can't seem to get it to print correctly. When I just hit ctrl+p, it prints the image in a large format, and I can't see the bottom or right 4-5 columns/rows. I have tried landscaping, but it still doesn't work. I saved the image and tried printing from paint, but it is too small to read.

Is there any other way to print the puzzle? I don't have the loop program to code it in, so I guess I could use a link to find that if I have to..

I've printed them off using the Windows Picture And Fax Viewer, and they come out nicely. But if you want to try the "loopy.exe" method, you can get hold of that here.

I like to right-click, copy, and paste in Microsoft Word. Then you can resize it however you like.

I tried that, but when I play it on there it's still a little small for me to read. Also, I can't fix position or anything. I tried printing it from that program, but it was still larger than the paper... I will try to do it without fixed position, but it will be hard since I don't have enough time in one sitting.. I guess I can save it though.. Thanks anyway..

I print the beasts off to play as well.  Most web-browsers have options where you can scale the image to fit the paper.  Providing you do this, and orientate the image so it shares its long edge with that of your paper, there really shouldn't be a problem.

August's beast was much nicer than a lot of the others.

Foilman, will you be adding more to the archives any time soon?  I've got a couple of long journeys coming up, and I've run out of beasts!

Yes, I've finally settled on the right level of difficulty for the puzzles so they should all be of a similar standard to this month's from now on.

I've just gone back and added puzzles for all the archived months now, so that should keep you busy for another couple of hours I hope!

A small part of me is a little disappointed by that!

Cheers!  Now I just have to try and hold off doing them until I go on holiday...
