There's currently a number under the puzzles in the archives instead of the difficulty rating. What exactly does that mean? I first thought difficulty rating, but that can't really work as tuesday's number for example is higher than today's number and tuesday's puzzles are always rating medium and thursday's are rated hard.

It should be working now!
I recently overhauled the puzzle rating system behind the scenes and instead of calculating the rating from lots of various stats (that number was one of them!) on the fly, it now calculates the rating when the puzzle is generated. I'd forgotten to update the bit of code in the archives that displays the rating... |
