For the first time ever, I got problems submitting my solution for a puzzle, which was making me go nuts as not only was it a personal best, but it would have finally put me in Club 29. Fortunately, it worked on the third attempt  |

For 3 years i was stuck on club 39, a period were i had several times gotten very close to joining club 29 but never made until today, finally a week were it all worked! |

Oh wow, that was a surprise. I am actually quite proud to have achieved this club (hence this forum post!). I have been playing for over a year now (400 daily puzzles solved) yet still making progress. It seems to me from reading the forums that people make progress for a couple of years until they start to plateau a bit. Of course, the really good make it to Club 9 after a few years, but I very much doubt I will ever make Club 19. But I am quite happy where I am by making Club 29 by the skin of my teeth! |

I think Foilman made a change to the weekly puzzles a few months ago. At least the Friday puzzles are harder than before.
So reaching Club 9 might have become much harder than it was before. I certainly haven't come close to my best time in many months.
That said, Club 19 is definitely doable if you stick to it. Practice makes perfect.

They were always supposed to be more difficult than they were, and one day I spotted my puzzle designer code was missing a couple of basic patterns. I changed it, and now the Friday ones are a bit more challenging... |

Whoohoo down to 23m58s from a high 26. I was a bit worried after forgetting to play yesterday (the Wednesday time was a clear chance for improvement), but it worked out nicely today. |
